Comments

If you leave a comment on our website, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent, are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.

An anonymised string generated from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been validated, your profile photo will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Media

When uploading images to the site, we recommend that you avoid uploading images that contain EXIF data with GPS coordinates. Visitors to your site may be able to download and extract location data from these images.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to store your name, email address and website in cookies. This is just for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies will expire after one year.

When you go to the login page, a temporary cookie is created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain any personal information and is automatically deleted when you close your browser.
